I have had a lot of emails lately regarding “my baby is older than 10 days…..” and people are concerned that they have missed out on the opportunity to get stunning images of their little mr./mrs. and that is NOT the case! I do love my “fresh” little clients, they have not grown into their skin yet and they are just how they were in the womb, they sleep so very well but… if you did not have the opportunity to get newborn pictures you HAVE NOT MISSED OUT! This little man fell into the 2 month old category and still, so many lovely images! I have a HUGE soft spot in my heart for older babies too because……
1. SKIN. They have perfect skin. Seriously, what laser treatment do I need to buy to get this???? PERFECTION!
2. EYES. Eye contact- it makes the photo. Especially when they are peeping when their beautiful momma gives them a SMOOCH!!!
3. LOOK. They look adorable in bunny hats.
4. OOOOOOO. They are curious- looking for you, giving you those raw, blank stare looks. PURITY. Who wouldn’t hang this on their wall? Oh, what I would pay to have Calli like this… instead I have grainy images of a cute little 5 pound baby with mottled skin…. but that’s a different story. Brian would be shocked to know what I would actually pay but… that is gone. Moving on…..
5. EMOTION!!!! It’s what we are all looking for right? The smile a little guy gives his daddy when he looks up and see’s his face….. PRICELESS!
