Look who is all grown up. Booo. It was a sad day today at my house when Miss Calli opened up “like a crocodile” so I could brush her teeth and I found out that her two front teeth are ready to fall out! How did she grow up so fast? Seriously? So sad. We are about to celebrate her 5th birthday and she couldn’t be more excited. I was worried I would miss the opportunity to get pictures so my sister kindly enough drove 90 miles with her baby to help me update the pictures of my babies since it had been over a year since I took them to the studio to do their pictures. Can you believe it?
So… I just want to say I am the luckiest mom in the world, Calli’s heart is as big as the ocean. She is so caring and is so loving. Calli has seen some very ugly days. She suffers from a Kidney Syndrome that has given us many up’s and down’s. She was diagnosed when she was 2 with Nephrotic Syndrome. Sounds simple right? I thought so too in the beginning. It’s not so simple. She has been a trouper through every inch of it; choking down bitter pills, lab draws, hospitalizations, 12 weeks of Chemo, and many many sleepless nights from her meds. We have had many bad days but many-many more good days. Words can’t describe the happiness I have when I get to tell you all for now, she is completely medication free and symptom free. I know we have been blessed to have her back to her normal self, GROWING LIKE A WEED and her lively self. Being a mom is so fulfilling, I just love the happiness my little girls bring me it’s like nothing else on earth.
