Another FABULOUS family that is moving away from our beautiful Montana Mountains, dang it! We decided to head up to Red Lodge to really take in all the beauty Montana had to offer one last time. I love Red Lodge, probably right up there behind Chico, Livingston, Boulder….. I love my hippie-flow towns. I think I was a hippie in my last life, seriously. And the one before that a city girl! When Miss C was a baby Brian and I would put her in the Kelty, grab a bag of trail mix and and jerky and drive up to the Gap Lakes and spend the ENTIRE day hiking with our two little Bostons. Brian had a job that he didn’t have to go into until 2:00 pm so when it wasn’t snowmobiling season we were hiking the Gap Lakes or Vedauwoo. It will suck the pregnancy weight right off of you! I miss Laramie and all the beautiful things it has to offer. It takes a bit to see it, you first have to get past the WIND, then the SNOW but it was where I took my babies HOME to and it will always be special to me just like MT will be special to Miss S and her family.
