The fall rush came early, VERY EARLY for me and we are running full speed here. OH, how I love this time of year! We have a record number of families and seniors, BLUSH has been so much fun and I have met SO MANY amazing seniors, the only problem with BLUSH is I know Calli and Layla will be there before I know it.
Miss Layla started her first day of school last week, welcome to the big K! I wish I had a picture to share with you BUT…. well, that is another story that you get to see the end to soon. My sweet baby started school, brave and excited she ran with her sister and never looked back. She came home with a prize for scratching the back of a little guy crying for his mom. I am so proud of her and her strength. Since school she has started sleeping with Calli at night, then climbs in my side of the bed at about 1 AM and I love it. She will soon need her space as Layla does BUT I am going to soak her up as much as I can while it lasts

Miss Calli is learning Spanish and loving it, I just ad el- in front of everything I say and pretend I am close, this doesn’t work by the way. She asked “mom can you ask me a question in Spanish”
Me: Ummmm, not really.
Calli: Come on just try, it’s really fun!
Me: Mr. Sibbett hated me so I never took Spanish.
Calli: Awwwwe, Momma I am so sorry Mr. Sibbett hated you
Me: He actually didn’t I just wanted to take classes my boyfriend was in which isn’t a good idea.
Calli: Your right momma. That is SO not a good idea!!!!
Here’s to a great 2012-2013 school year, I hope my children are not evicted for tardiness which most of you know I struggle with. So far, one week in we are 100% and my mom is so proud right now. I am sure to disappoint so don’t get too excited about this.
Now, on to my point….
I have been wanting to post this for a while BUT I have had 3 rounds of pink eye since the 8th and after $162 in eye drops (that I swear is over priced Cristal) I am kind of seeing better but not even close to normal… lets give this a shot! It’s that time for beautiful family portraits, it is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the babies but, photographing the whole family ‘so in love’ is just what I love to do! If you want to jump on our books and document those you love best, I am your girl! I have no plans to replace my jeans that look worse than my girls until I am done rolling in the dirt laughing at all of you having a great time! By the way, many of you from last year will love to know, my duck sounds after another year of refining has 100% success rate for belly laughs, no joke.
