Here are some things to consider:

1. Although you may be wanting pictures for your holiday card, please don’t dress the family in Red and Green.  You want an image that looks great on your walls too and in June, you don’t really want to come in, look above your couch and think “Ho-Ho-Ho Merry Christmas.” There are other great ways using other colors to give you an amazing image that looks great on a holiday card but also stands out on your walls.

2. Overdo it- Yes, please do.  Accessories, belts, scarves, headbands, hats for the little boys (sorry dad not you) you want to look finished in your family picture.

3. Play off each other-  We don’t want everyone looking like you made a lone mission to GAP and found the same shirt in the same style and purchased it for everyone in the family, that would be creepy.  So, play off of everyone’s outfits, you all don’t have to wear the same color, let each person shine through their outfit.

4. Oh, Momma- Mom’s, this is your time to shine,  I know we always put ourselves last but, go buy yourself a darling dress (Yes a dress) you will look timeless.  Dresses are feminine and hide so many areas that we want to shove under the rug anyways, get yourself all gussied up and enjoy your self.

5. LAYERS PLEASE- we need layers, lots of them.  We want the boys in layers under their button up shirts, vests are and fun for both boys and girls, cardigans, blazers, GO FOR IT!
