Are you guys totally impressed? I have been kicking booty on the blogity-blog-blog right? I have a family of 5 for you tomorrow too and then, a family of 6, yes 6! Keep watching! So today, ya’ll get enjoy “most” peoples favorite part of the blog, the little friends of the NICU.
Miss Rebecca of IBP and I actually met in the NICU, while her little man was there. She hadn’t come to a NICU shoot until yesterday and WOW, it was crazy walking through those doors with her. We got to the doors and I badged in, they opened and instantly she was on a time machine back to the half-awake days where she practically lived in the NICU. All of the sounds, the smells, the people, made her think she was walking in to check on we wee little one tucked away at his own bed space. I think a lot of you parents that watch for these posts have the same feeling when you see the little babies while you hold a chunky and happy baby on your lap. For a lot of babies, this is the start of their life and the beginning of a load of great memories. Some times a long journey, other times just a week stay, it’s part of their lives and it’s so fulfilling to document these babies for their sweet families. Not only can you see their families enjoying them but when you are at the bedside and their momma gives them a big kiss and everyone in the NICU says “awwwwwww” it fills you up! N-Joy!
